Hi and thanks for stopping by.
Whether you’re actively searching for a home, thinking about selling, exploring investment options, or just curious about what’s happening in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area real estate market—you’re in the right place.
This blog exists to make real estate easier to understand and navigate. Hope you enjoy it.
What You’ll Find Here
Every post is written to give you something useful. Sometimes that’s market analysis that helps you understand pricing trends or inventory shifts. Sometimes it’s practical guidance on preparing a home for sale or evaluating neighbourhoods. Sometimes it’s strategy for buyers, investors, or people planning their next move.
Much of the content here covers the GTHA market specifically, but much of it will also apply to real estate anywhere. How to maximize your home’s value before listing? That works in Burlington or Boston. Understanding what buyers actually notice during showings? That’s universal. Investment timing strategies? Relevant across North America.
You’ll find posts about current market conditions, pricing strategy, neighbourhood comparisons, buyer and seller tactics, investment analysis, and anything else related to residential real estate that’s worth exploring.
A Bit About Me
I’m Christian Deane, a Licensed Sales Representative with Right At Home Realty, one of the GTHA’s most prominent brokerages. I work with buyers, sellers, and investors across the GTHA—first-time buyers, move-up buyers, empty nesters downsizing, and investors building rental portfolios.
Before real estate, I spent years in financial analysis, transaction coordination, and operations management. That background shows up in how I approach the market: numbers-first, process-oriented, focused on what actually drives outcomes rather than what sounds good in theory.
I started this blog because the same questions come up repeatedly in client conversations—questions about timing, pricing, ROI on improvements, neighbourhood selection, market trends, affordability math. Publishing those answers here makes the information accessible to anyone who needs it, whether we ever work together or not.
